- Enjoy the freedom of exploring Great Barrier Island in a rental vehicle. We’ll collect you and take you to our vehicle hire depot or alternatively we can meet you at the airport with the rental vehicle.
Flights depart from Auckland or North Shore to Claris airfield on Great Barrier Island.
Great Barrier Airlines departs daily 7.45am, 10.15am and 4.00pm from Auckland airport. Departure times from the island are 9.00am, 1.00pm, and 5.00pm. Additional departure times are available in summer and weekends. Flights also depart from North Shore airport.
Fly My Sky departs daily from Auckland airport at 7.45am, 10.30am and 4.00pm. Departure times from the island are 9.00am, 1.30pm, and 5.00pm. Additional departure times are available in summer and weekends.
Cost Return flights plus two days car hire for two persons $590.00 including GST.
Longer stays are not a problem!
We can arrange additional days for car hire at $75.00 per day.
